Mithun Barman

Mithun is an artist from West Bengal, India. He is not only learned but also interested in various forms of art. Being a student of prestigious institutions like Govt. College of Art and Craft, Tripura University, Agartala, Tripura, where he was a Gold madelist; and Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan, West Bengal he has a deep understanding into art. He considers art as his passion and this very thing has driven him to excel in many places where he had been bestowed with numerous awards and scholarships. To name a few he was the recipient of the The ‘Hall of Fame Award’ -for outstanding creative and innovative Painting in Hall of Fame Award Exhibition, Presented by Bohubhuj, Agartala, Tripura (2018), Award for Best position in the Annual Exhibition of Govt. College of Art and Craft, Agartala, Tripura (2019), Award for best position as a Young Artist in 58th Nikhil Tripura Annual Painting and Sculpture Exhibition. Presented by Tripura Rabindra Parishad, Agartala (2019), the ‘Bimal Kar Excellence Award’ for outstanding achievement (2021) and many more. He aspires to take his art to national and international platforms.
