Rajesh is a visual art practitioner from West Bengal in India. He has studied Bachelors as well as Masters in Fine Arts from prestigious institutions like The Indian College of Arts and Draftsmanship, Kolkata and Kala Bhavana, Visva Bharati University. He regularly participates in various art related exhibitions and workshops. He has been the receiver of the 'Best Award' in the category of drawing and study work, consecutively in the 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 from The Indian College of Arts and Draftsmanship, Kolkata. He has also been the proud receiver of the certificate of merit in the category of drawing from The State Academy Annual Exhibition at ICCR Gallery, Kolkata in 2018. He is primarily intrigued by the transient nature of being, and much of his work draws inspiration from his immediate surroundings, focusing on the vulnerable human condition. He is interested in various disciplines of art and culture. He considers himself as a multidisciplinary art practitioner.
